Emo8 is a magazine comprised of eight sections based on different emotions: Anger, Anticipation, Joy, Trust, Fear, Surprise, Sadness, and Disgust. Each section would include one interesting piece relating to the emotion, such as poems, idioms, articles, photography and more. The sections are color coded based on the chart in the introduction. Each section is meant to covey the feeling of the emotion attached to it.

This article contains simple typography with highlighted important quotes. The small emoji gives the piece a playful feeling.

The surprise in this article is hidden. The paragraph indents are in random locations. This surprises the reader but does not greatly reduce readability.

The sad song list is laid out to resemble tears. Although the eyes are small, larger eyes are implied.
